Jasmine Tea infused w. Strawberries

Hot summer days call for refreshing beverages. Instead of the typical unhealthy soda’s and “real fruit juice’s” that aren’t so “real” try something new.Ā  I was looking around my cabinets and stumbled across some Jasmine tea that had not been put to use. I thought it would be fun to try flavor the tea myself. Thus, the idea of strawberry jasmine tea came about.

Jasmine tea is known to lower blood pressure, strengthen the immune system, lower cholesterol levels and regulate aging processes in our bodies. It is claimed that drinking jasmine tea can assist those who want to lose weight. It also possesses sedative qualities and is said to help prevent strokes, arterial sclerosis and heart attacks.

This tea has amazing benefits for the body. Try fun new ways in preparing jasmine tea, or could try my idea. šŸ™‚

How I PreparedĀ  Jasmine Tea:
  • Add tea pot to hot stove top.
  • Add any preferred non-flavored Jasmine tea bag to plastic container.
  • Pour in hot water to plastic container and let the the tea bag release the Jasmine flavor into the water for a couple minutes.
  • Remove tea bag and add any preferred amount of sugar (This all depends on how sweet you like your tea I usually add a half a cup)
  • Add a cup of Ice and sliced strawberries and let sit.
  • Pour into a mason jar or any preferred cup and enjoy

There are several different ways to prepareĀ  tea. Experiment different ways until you figure out which method works best for your taste buds.
